Gabriel Landeskog on the shelf for 12 weeks

Gabriel Landeskog will miss the next three months after undergoing an arthroscopic knee procedure. He was apparently having trouble during training camp and getting going on the ice so it was decided this was the best course of action.
Fantasy Impact:
This shouldn't come as any surprise to fantasy managers who drafted him as he was expected to miss time going into the draft. The extension does stink however. Slot him into your IR position and wait for him to be back in January. Expect Artturi Lehkonen and/or Valeri Nichushkin to fill in on the wing for the highly-potent Avalanche top line.
