Ben Meyers scored the opening goal for Colorado as they defeated the hosting Minnesota Wild on Monday night. He finished the game with a goal, a plus-1 rating, two shots and one hit.
Fantasy Impact:
Erik Johnson was skirting the blue line and lofted a wrister on net. Meyers got his stick on it (just below shoulder-level), redirected it into a Wild defender, and over the shoulder of FIlip Gustavsson for the Avs' first of the night.
