Curtis Lazar knocks in rebound for Bruins second goal of game
by Sean Varin | Devils Correspondent | Sat, Feb 12th 6:04pm EST
Anton Blidh put the puck on net and Curtis Lazar was there to finish it off with a rebound goal for his sixth of the year. The goal put the Bruins up 2-0 during the first period barrage while the Senators seemed to be sleep-walking on the ice. The team had a goaltender interference call later in the game that could’ve made it 3-0, but it was not needed, as the team went on to win 2-0.
Fantasy Impact:
The B’s got all they needed to win it in the first period in this one. The Senators came out sluggish, and the Bruins got a short-handed win against a team they have been dominating for the last few years. Lazar had three hits and a block to go with his two shots-on-goal.
