Jonas Johansson was claimed by the Florida Panthers and will be serving as the third goalie behind Sergei Bobrovsky and Spencer Knight.

The Avalanche waived him as Pavel Francouz is returning. He was able to muster a 3-2-1 record with a 3.89 GAA and lackluster .880 save percentage.
