Kevin Labanc scored the tying goal late in the third period to send the game to overtime where the Sharks eventually prevailed 2-1 over the Hurricanes.

Labanc now has three goals and two assists on the season. Having missed time due to Covid-19 protocols and a suspension, Labanc is looking to get back on track and recover his spot in the Sharks' top six.
