Jordan Martinook scores the go-ahead goal in a 5-2 Hurricanes victory

Martinook scored what proved to be the game winner late in the second period. It was the Canes and Golden Knights first contest since the All-Star break. The Hurricanes are now riding a four game points streak and have won 10 out of their last 14 games.

Martinook’s goal was his 11th of the season. That ties his single season career high in goals. It was his first goal since January 20th against Edmonton. On the season the Manitoba native has 14 points with 11 goals and 3 assists.
