Fantasy Impact: Wolford has not appeared in an NFL game since the 2022 season. He'll add depth in the quarterback room for Jacksonville this offseason.

Fantasy Impact: Mosley could be released by the Jets this offseason, which could lead to him retiring. He was limiting to just four games this past season due to a neck injury.


JJ Jansen re-signs with Panthers

Fantasy Impact: Jansen will be back for a 17th season with Carolina. He'll remain in his role with the Panthers heading into next season.


The Steelers released LB Preston Smith. (Source: Brooke Pryor on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Smith was acquired by Pittsburgh in a trade last season. This release will save the Steelers $27.5 million over the next two seasons.


The Dolphins released CB Kendall Fuller. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Fuller was one of three players released by Miami. He'll likely land a depth role in the secondary with another team.

Fantasy Impact: Smythe spent most of his time on the field as a blocker. He'll look to land in a similar role with another team.


Tommy Doyle retires from NFL

Fantasy Impact: It is a medical retirement for Doyle. He tore his ACL twice.


The Dolphins released RB Raheem Mostert. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Mostert spent the past three years in Miami. He posted his best campaign two seasons ago when he ran for over 1,000 yards and 18 touchdowns. He'll look to hold a depth role with another team.


Veteran running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire re-signed on a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints to remain through the 2025 season. (Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Edwards-Helaire, who was born in and went to college in Louisiana, is returning to New Orleans for 2025. While he was not very involved in 2024, largely due to an extended stint on the non-football illness list due to his battle with PTSD, he did return at the end of the season and could be fully ready for 2025, his sixth NFL season. He has averaged 4.2 yards per carry throughout his career and is a successful pass-catcher, providing depth behind RBs Alvin Kamara and alongside both Kendre Miller and Jamaal Williams (if he remains on the team).


The Chiefs signed Tyquan Thornton to a reserve/future contract.

Fantasy Impact: Thornton ended last season on the Chiefs practice squad after he was waived by the Patriots. He'll compete for a depth spot in the Chiefs wide receiver room this offseason.


The Falcons signed Phillip Dorsett to a reserve/future contract.

Fantasy Impact: Dorsett spent last season on the Falcons practice squad. He'll compete this offseason for a depth spot in the wide receiver room for Atlanta.

Fantasy Impact: Wright appeared in a total of four games with the 49ers, Chiefs and Titans. He'll have a chance to compete for a spot on the Panthers roster this offseason.


Bobby Price signs with Commanders

Fantasy Impact: Price appeared in three games with Washington last season. He'll remain with the Commanders heading into next year.


The Saints are hiring Kellen Moore to be the franchise’s next head coach. (Source: Dianna Russini on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Moore had been considered the favorite for the job for the past several weeks. He fills the last remaining head coaching vacancy. Moore has been an offensive coordinator since 2019 for the Cowboys, Chargers and Eagles.


The Jets are reportedly "unlikely to move forward with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback in 2025.” (Source: Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Rodgers struggled for most of this past season and it is now a new era for the Jets with a new coaching staff. It is unclear if Rodgers will try to play another season and if so, what teams might express interest in the veteran in free agency.


The Seahawks restructured the contract of Leonard Williams. (Source: Corbin K. Smith on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: It opened up over $14 million in cap space for the Seahawks. Seattle was able to convert over $18 million of Williams’ 2025 salary into a bonus while tacking on two void years to the end of his deal. Williams is coming off one of the best overall seasons in his career.

Fantasy Impact: Hyde spent his first four seasons with the Packers before he signed with the Bills. He was able to move into a starting role in Buffalo. Hyde did not play this past season, but he did sign with the Bills practice squad.

Fantasy Impact: Crosby last played three games for the Giants in the 2023 season where he connected on 5-of-7 field goal attempts and 6-of-7 extra point attempts. He spent the first 16 seasons in his career with the Packers where he was able to have a lot of success.

Fantasy Impact: Aumavae-Laulu did not play a down for Baltimore since he was drafted in 2023. He'll be able to compete for a role at guard on a Seahawks offensive line that needs all the help they can get.


Command Center
