Ameer Abdullah Week 17 Outlook - Raiders at Saints

Last week, Abdullah finished as the RB15 in fantasy points per game with 12 touches and 85 total yards (one score). He played 31% of the rushing play snaps, 51% of the passing down snaps, and had a 33% snap rate in the red zone. Abdullah really needs the Saints to get a lead so he can see more passing down snaps. I worry that the Raiders could get a lead early on the Saints, and fantasy GMs will see more Alexander Mattison than they want in Week 17. New Orleans has also not been kind to passing down backs, holding them to the tenth-fewest receiving yards per game and the 13th-lowest yards per reception. Sit Abdullah in Week 17.
