George Kittle Week 3 Outlook - 49ers at Rams

George Kittle usually gets by on superior efficiency more so than volume. But that may change a bit with the San Francisco 49ers missing both Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel. Kittle parlayed eight Week 2 targets into an overall TE1 weekly finish and has a chance to do so again this week. The Los Angeles Rams have given up the third-most receiving yards to the tight end position through two games. Opposing tight ends are averaging a whopping 11 yards per target against the Rams. Included in that are four tight end targets for 50 yards against Rams' linebacker Christian Rozeboom. If Kittle's volume remains high in this matchup, he could easily lead all tight ends in scoring for the second straight week.
