Sam LaPorta Week 2 Outlook - Buccaneers at Lions

If I told you that Isaiah Likely, Foster Moreau, Juwan Johnson, Chig Okonkwo, and Colby Parkinson all outscored Sam LaPorta in Week 1, you probably would not have guessed that LaPorta still finished the week as a top-eight fantasy tight end. But that is exactly what happened. LaPorta, like many of the top tight ends from around the NFL, had a relatively quiet Week 1. He caught four of five targets for 45 yards and failed to score a touchdown. LaPorta is in a great spot to rebound against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. Todd Bowles' defense has ranked in the top eight in catches allowed to tight ends in each of the past four years. Sam LaPorta should be trusted as an elite tight end with week-winning upside.
