Mike Evans Week 2 Outlook - Buccaneers at Lions

New year, same Mike Evans. The 11th-year pro caught two touchdowns from Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay's Week 1 win against Washington. Mayfield and Evans have now connected for 15 scores in 18 regular season games together. The biggest potential threat to Evans' Week 2 production could be Detroit's ability to generate pressure up front. Evans does most of his damage on deep and intermediate routes, so some added pressure could force Mayfield to throw the ball sooner than he would like. Still, it is hard to bet against Evans given his nose for the end zone. He also could benefit from the likelihood that the Buccaneers will have a difficult time running the football against Detroit's front seven.
