Jahmyr Gibbs Week 2 Outlook - Buccaneers at Lions

Fantasy managers who spent a first-round pick on Jahmyr Gibbs have to be very encouraged by his Week 1 usage. Gibbs had six opportunities in the red zone, including a second-quarter goal line carry, compared to four for David Montgomery. That spread was even more pronounced (5-1) before the game went to overtime. Gibbs' ability both on the ground and through the air should be on full display when the Lions host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. The Buccaneers allowed the Commanders backfield duo of Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler to generate 151 yards of offense last week. 101 of those yards came via the air. Gibbs has high-end RB1 upside in this matchup that has sneaky shootout appeal.
