Isiah Pacheco Week 2 Outlook - Bengals at Chiefs

By Mick Ciallela (Fantrax), Wed, Sep 11th 2024, 5:19pm EDT

Isiah Pacheco was on the field for 80 percent of Kansas City's snaps in Week 1. He also had 18 opportunities, compared to two apiece for Samaje Perine and Carson Steele. With workload concerns seemingly out of the way, fantasy managers can instead focus on Pacheco's Week 2 matchup. It is certainly a tasty matchup on paper. The Cincinnati Bengals allowed the third-highest yards per rush to opposing running backs a season ago. And they did little to alleviate those concerns last week in an upset loss to the New England Patriots. Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson ran for 120 yards and a score. He broke a league-high 10 tackles in the process, averaging 4.72 yards per carry after contact. Pacheco tied for 12th in the NFL with 47 missed tackles forced last year, so this should play into his favor. Given the expected volume and favorable matchup, Isiah Pacheco should be a solid fantasy RB1 in Week 2.
