Willie Young finished Thursday night's game against the Green Bay Packers with only two tackles.

Fantasy Impact

Young has had a quiet year so far, which is rather disappointing for a defense that has been on the field a lot of time. Young is not worth starting in IDP leagues.

Willie Young was coming off two monster performances. His stat sheet did not show a big game against the Packers, but he was constantly providing pressure on Aaron Rodgers. In fact, he caused the initial pressure that led to the Leonard Floyd strip-sack fumble for a touchdown. On paper, Young only finished with a solo tackle and a pass deflection.

Fantasy Impact

Young is only worth owning in deeper IDP leagues. He has a LB designation, but in this defense plays more like a defensive end. He can have big games, but also disappear on the stat sheet like he did in this one. If you need a bye week fill in, Young could be the guy to help for a week or two. Other than that, look for more consistency in your linebackers.

The Bears ended up losing 16-17 to the Jaguars even though Chicago looked to be the better team for most of the game. Willie Young thrived again and finished with three tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble. He now has five sacks over the last two games.

Fantasy Impact

Young looks to be the sack specialist Vic Fangio was hoping for in Leonard Floyd. Young has been flying around like a man on a mission and is worth an add in most IDP leagues.

Willie Young was all over quarterback Andrew Luck on Sunday, finished with three sacks. He also finished with five tackles, four of which were solo.

Fantasy Impact

Young finally had his breakout game for the season. Hopefully it is positive signs of things to come from Young.

The Bears defense was up and down. They played better in the first half than the second, something similar to what happened in Week 1. Injuries did not help, but that is no excuse for this performance. Willie Young was able to make some noise though. He finished wit five solo tackles, two assists and a sack.

Fantasy Impact

This was a good game for Young. He does not have much fantasy value outside of really, really deep leagues. His playing time is sporadic and thus limits his value as a fantasy linebacker. That said, this was a good game and with Lamarr Houston tearing his ACL, Young could see more consistent playing time. He should be a guy to put on the watch list for a future add.
