Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Kahale Warring caught one of three targets for three yards on Sunday as the Texans lost to the Bengals by a 37-31 score in Week 16 action.
Fantasy Impact
Warring now has three catches over the last five games as the second-year tight end tries to work his way up the depth chart. Warring was a third-round pick last year and has been injured most of his time in the NFL and may be given more of a chance to play in Week 17.
Kahale Warring caught both his targets for 23 yards on Sunday as the Texans lost to the Colts by a 27-20 score in Week 15 action.
Fantasy Impact
Warring caught his first two passes of the season as the 2019 third-round draft pick is finally getting a chance to see the field after being injured for most of the season. Look for the Texans to try to get Warring more involved in the offense over the last two games of the year.
Kahale Warring failed to catch his only target on Thursday as the Texans beat the Lions by a 41-25 score in Week 12 action.
Fantasy Impact
The Texans activated Warring from injured reserve Monday and was able to see some action on Thursday. Warring is batting Jordan Akins, Darren Fells, and Pharaoh Brown at tight end for the Texans and will not see enough volume to be worth picking up in fantasy.
Houston Texans TE Kahale Warring is expected to come off IR and designated for return in Week 12.
Fantasy Impact
Warring's potential return could put pressure on TE's Jordan Akins and Daniel Fells, who have not been as productive in the past several weeks. It's likely an opportunity to get more snaps for the Texans 3rd round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Coach Bill O'Brien said Friday that Kahale Warring remains in the concussion protocol, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Fantasy Impact
Warring suffered the concussion a few weeks ago and still is not ready to come back. The rookie tight end has not played in any preseason games and has no time table for a return.
