Free safety Isa Abdul-Quddus, the free agent acquired from Detroit during the offseason, showed that he and strong safety Reshad Jones are a dangerous tandem to contend with. Abdul-Quddus had eight tackles (five solo), defended two passes and intercepted Russel Wilson in the loss to the Seahawks. In years past, the only safety found around the ball and making plays was Reshad Jones.

Place Abdul-Quddus on your IDP radar, and keep track of him. This is a free safety racking up tackles. Coordinator Vance Johnson may be able to get creative with Abdul-Quddus and Reshad Jones. At the very least, Jones may be freed up to roam the field even more.
