Charles Tillman to retire

Charles Tillman has announced his retirement from the National football league.

Fantasy Impact

Charles "Peanut" Tillman will be remembered as one of the best secondary players during his time in the NFL. Tillman was a master at forcing fumbles ending his career with a total of 44 to go along with 38 interceptions. Thank you for teaching all us how to "punch". Congrats on a great career.

Charles Tillman exits with knee injury in win

Charles Tillman tackled three in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay. He left in the third quarter with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact

The Panthers are getting thin at cornerback and will need Tillman in the playoffs. He is an unrestricted free agent this off-season, and his injury history suggests this could be his last year in the league.

Charles Tillman has four tackles in loss

Charles Tillman had for tackles in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Impact

Tillman didn't fill the box score like he did last week. He would be interesting sleeper start in IDP leagues, as Norman and other starters may be sitting.

Charles Tillman delivers in return to action

Charles Tillman recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass in Sunday's win over the Giants. He also added five tackles.

Fantasy Impact

Tillman proved to be a steady replacement for the injured Bene Benwikere. Tillman will be playing more in the last remaining weeks. Consider playing him next week if you need someone in a pinch.

Charles Tillman dealing with a hyperextended knee

Charles Tillman is dealing with a hyperextended knee, and head coach Ron Rivera considers him "very doubtful" for this week against Washington.

Fantasy Impact

It sounds like Tillman could be out for an extended period of time, meaning second year corner Bene' Benwikere should replace Tillman on the outside, while backup safety Colin Jones moves into the slot. Benwikere has been the Panthers top "nickel" corner this year, and should serve well opposite Josh Norman until Tillman returns.
