Fantasy Impact:
Braverman, undersized at 5'10", was nevertheless impressive in fall camp and quickly became a fan favorite. However, he failed to make an impact in the preseason games and was released by Chicago, leaving Eddie Royal as the teams' lone slot receiver. As the Bears figure to lean on the run this season, this move doesn't significantly increase Royals' fantasy stock. Given Royals' struggles to stay healthy, Braverman is a strong candidate for the Bears' practice squad.
