Aaron Dobson gets waived by the Patriots

Aaron Dobson was waived by the Patriots on Saturday, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports. (Jeff Howe on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Dobson was drafted with high hopes four years ago by the Patriots in the second round out of Marshall. He never did live up to his promise and in three seasons caught 39 passes for 566 yards. He may get an opportunity with another team but it looks like Dobson's days of being fantasy relevant have passed.
