The Cowboys do not appear that they have worked out a deal with Austin Davis and was in need of an emergency quarterback for the preseason finale. On Thursday, they signed former Baltimore Ravens signal caller Johnson. It is likely that he will only play in the contest if Jameill Showers is sidelined with an injury.
