ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports that New York Giants running back Andre Williams is the favorite for No. 2 duties behind Rashad Jennings and has seen first-team reps this summer. (Jordan Raanan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Giants refuse to give up on their fourth round pick from 2014, despite his pedestrian 3.3 YPC from last year. The team reportedly wants to give Williams a few series each game, likely in short-yardage situations. He has very little standalone value in fantasy, and even an injury to Jennings does not guarantee that he becomes fantasy relevant.
