San Diego Chargers WR Steve Johnson (knee) will miss the entire 2016 regular season following Thursday's knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus suffered during the early stages of training camp. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

As expected, Johnson will miss the 2016 regular season after tearing his meniscus in the early days of training camp. The Chargers signed James Jones last week anticipating the worst case scenario for Johnson. Jones will likely compete with Dontrelle Inman for the No. 3 wide receiver spot on the depth chart.
