Detroit Lions LB Stephen Tulloch was "excused" from the team's mandatory minicamp on Monday. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Tulloch is expected to receive his release within the coming weeks. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Stephen Tulloch is expected to be released within the next few weeks according to reports. The 10-year veteran had a solid year with the Lions in 2015. He appeared in 16 games and tallied 108 tackles, one sack, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and a pass deflection. Tulloch will likely land with a new team as the preseason portion of the offseason approaches.
