Terence Newman stayed with the Vikings and HC Mike Zimmer as expected. Newman played under Zimmer during his tenures in Dallas and Cincinnati as their defensive coordinator respectively. The 13-year veteran finished 2015 with 62 total tackles, three interceptions and 12 defended passes.
