Chargers ink Casey Hayward to three-year deal

The San Diego Chargers and CB Casey Hayward agreed to terms on a three-year, $15.3 million deal according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Casey Hayward is a proven durable corner that is heading to San Diego and will likely start on a Chargers defense that finished 2015 ranked 14th against the pass. Despite missing 13 games in 2013, Hayward started his past 32 contests over a two-year span. Hayward finished last season with 65 tackles, and seven passes defended.
