Marques Colston to be released within "days"

The New Orleans Saints are expected to release veteran wide receiver Marques Colston in the "coming days" according to ESPN's Mike Triplett. (Mike Triplett on Twitter)

This is no surprise. Marques Colston's production has been on a decline for some time now. Colston hasn't posted 1000 yards receiving since 2012, and his receptions have also been on a dramatic decline since that year. Colston finished a disappointing 2015 catching 45-of-67 targets, 520 yards and four touchdowns.
