Marlon Brown placed on season-ending IR

WR Marlon Brown was placed on season-ending injured reserve today due to a back injury he has battled the last several weeks. Brown is the 20th Raven placed on injured reserve this season, a franchise record. (Jeff Zrebiec via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Brown hasn't seen the field in any productive capacity in a while, but his injury does have implications for what's sure to be an open competition at the WR spot this off-season. The third-year receiver produced only 112 yards on 14 receptions this season and with Steve Smith, Sr. returning, Kamar Aiken coming into his own, and 2015 first-round draft pick Breshad Perriman waiting in the wings there might not be much space for Marlon Brown on offense in 2016.
