Damontre Moore with one sack and costly penalty in loss to Eagles

In an ugly game marred by penalties, miscues and turnovers, Damontre Moore's roughing-the-passer penalty in the first quarter may have been the most costly. Following a second straight third-and-out by the Eagles to open the game, and with the Giants ahead 7-0, Moore inexplicably slammed Sam Bradford into the ground a few seconds after he had already thrown the third-down incomplete pass. As a result of the penalty, the Eagles retained possession and quickly marched downfield tying the game 7-7. The Eagles never looked back after that score and won 27-7. The Moore penalty (along with a Larry Donnell drop which turned into an interception) shifted momentum toward the Eagles who took full advantage.
Fantasy Impact:
Moore did record one sack (after which he performed a sack dance with his team trailing in the game - which certainly caught the attention of Tom Coughlin) and one TFL. Despite coming off a solid performance in Week 5, Moore's poor play in Week 6 could further cut into his playing time. He is fantasy irrelevant in IDP formats.
