Carolina Panthers WR Xavier Legette is likely to be out in Week 16 due to a groin injury, according to head coach Dave Canales. He will be considered week-to-week for the rest of the season. (David Newton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
With just three weeks left in the season, the Panthers are not likely to rush Legette back onto the field during a lost year (3-11), but this stretch is still crucial for the rookie. He has had some ups and downs, and given his general lack of in-game experience in college despite being a five-year player, getting more snaps this season will be important for Legette — not just for his future but for Carolina's evaluation of him. For fantasy football purposes, his time on re-draft rosters might be done, paving more opportunities for WRs Adam Thielen and Jalen Coker.
