Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray briefly exits with injury scare in Week 15

by Bruno Mulé | Cardinals Correspondent | Mon, Dec 16th 10:58am EST

Kyler Murray completed 23 of 30 passes for 224 yards in a 30-17 win over the New England Patriots. He also rushed five times for 11 yards. Murray briefly left the game in the second half to be evaluated for a potential head injury after taking a late hit. Backup Clayton Tune replaced him for the remainder of the drive, but Murray returned to the game on the next possession.

Fantasy Impact:

While Murray didn't throw any touchdowns, he managed a decent fantasy performance thanks to his efficient passing and rushing contributions. He avoided any interceptions, and a potential pick was negated by a roughing the passer penalty on the play where he was injured. Murray escaped the game without any serious injury and is expected to start in Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers. He remains a solid QB1 option with his dual-threat ability, and the matchup against the Panthers should provide a good opportunity for him to bounce back with a strong fantasy performance.
