Alexander Mattison runs for 15 yards on 14 carries in Week 8
by Matthew Adam | Raiders Correspondent | Sun, Oct 27th 10:02pm EDT
Alexander Mattison carried the ball 14 times for 15 yards and caught all five of his targets for 29 yards in a 27-20 loss to the Chiefs in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact:
Mattison couldn't get anything going on the ground, averaging just 1.1 yards per carry against a tough Chiefs defense. He was able to salvage his afternoon with a decent performance in the passing game as he tied his season-high with five catches. After opening the season as a backup, Mattison has overtaken Zamir White as the Raiders' lead back as White had only two carries in the loss. Mattison will be a high-end RB3 in Week 9 against the Bengals.
