Perry Riley to miss Thursday night game vs. Giants

Redskins ILB Perry Riley has been ruled out for the Thursday night game against the New York Giants due to a leg injury. He injured his calf in the Week 2 victory over St. Louis and was unable to practice this week. (Tarik El-Bashir on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While not devastating, this is a fairly tough loss for the Redskins defense, especially given the short week leading up to tonight's game. The front seven has been strong early on this season, with Riley playing a role in that success. Will Compton, who was solid in the second half of last week's game after Riley's injury, will get the start. The Redskins, who deploy a 3-4 base defense, are depleted at ILB with only three active players at the position. They struggled against the Giants offense last year, and this injury makes the task of stopping New York more difficult tonight.
