Davante Adams being traded to New York Jets

The Raiders are completing a trade of WR Davante Adams to the New York Jets, according to multiple reports. The return for the Raiders is reportedly a conditional third-round pick. (Ian Rapoport on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The Jets have been the logical destination for Adams given the Aaron Rodgers connection. Adams has missed the last three games as he deals with a hamstring injury but is expected to be able to return soon. Through three games with the Raiders, the veteran WR caught 18 of his 27 targets for 209 yards and one touchdown. This development isn't great news for WRs Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard, who will now have a new No. 1 WR to compete with for targets. The offense as a whole should improve, but Adams instantly becomes the top WR in this offense given his talent and his history with Rodgers. As for RB Breece Hall, an improved passing attack could help open things up in the running game.
