Ray Davis excels in starting role

Ray Davis rushed 20 times for 97 yards in Monday’s victory against the Jets. He also had three catches for 55 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
The rookie Davis stepped up in a big way in James Cook’s absence, leading his team in receiving yards en route to a victory. Davis’ 152 scrimmage yards are by far the most of his young career, and may have earned a larger role in the offense even when James Cook is healthy. Cook’s status is worth monitoring for Week 7, but if he misses a second straight game, Davis will be a solid start against the Titans.
