Deebo Samuel Sr. expected to play Sunday vs. Patriots

San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel Sr., who was dealing with a calf injury, is expected to return to action in Week 4 against the New England Patriots. (Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It's unclear if he could be on any sort of pitch count, but after initially having a timetable of multiple weeks, Samuel is set to return after just one week off due to a calf injury. Samuel was DNP-limited-limited in practice, and if he plays, he provides high-end upside as a threat to receive valuable and schemed-up touches in a dangerous offense that is returning its top weapons (TE George Kittle also set to return in Week 4). This bumps down the value for any managers looking to Flex Jauan Jennings again after his smash-hit Week 3 outing.
