Cam Akers underwhelming in spot start Sunday

Cam Akers rushed the ball nine times for 21 yards and caught one pass for eight yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Fantasy Impact:
Akers got the start for the Texans on Sunday with Joe Mixon (ankle) and Dameon Pierce (hamstring) both unavailable to play. He wasn't able to put up a good game, however, as he totaled less than 30 yards over the course of the afternoon. With Mixon set to return to the lineup soon, fantasy managers shouldn't hold out much hope that Akers will be a valuable pickup.
