Akers is trending towards starting for the Texans on Sunday. Both Joe Mixon (ankle) and Dameon Pierce (hamstring) have yet to practice this week, and Akers has been prepping to be the starter all week now. If he ends up starting, he could be worth streaming in some league formats, but fantasy managers should keep expectations tempered for the 25-year old.
