Daniel Jones has a $23 million injury guarantee that becomes fully guaranteed if gets injured and is unable to pass a physical after the 2024 season. (Adam Schefter on ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
This is a similar situation that happened with Russell Wilson last season, who was benched down towards the end of the year to avoid an injury and the Broncos needing to pay the guarantee. Given how the Giants and Jones have looked so far this season, it wouldn't be shocking to see this scenario play out towards the end of this year. Fantasy managers should have this in mind if they plan to rely on Jones late in the season, as he may be benched for this reason.
