Deshaun Watson not expected to land on exempt list

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is not expected to be placed on the commissioner's exempt list following the recent lawsuit filed against him stemming from an alleged 2020 sexual assault and battery incident. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The NFL has no initial plans for the new situation involving Watson as there are currently no criminal charges and the league's review of the incident has only just begun, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Brian McCarthy of the NFL PR department said that the league is "reviewing the complaint and we will look into the matter under the Personal Conduct Policy.” For now, there is a process both the court system and NFL will go through and Watson's on-field play should not be directly impacted by the news at this moment.
