Saquon Barkley scores three TDs in Week 1 win

by Matthew Adam | Eagles Correspondent | Sat, Sep 7th 7:15am EDT

Saquon Barkley carried the ball 24 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns while adding two catches for 23 yards and a third touchdown in a 34-29 win over the Packers in Week 1.

Fantasy Impact:

Barkley had a huge outing in his debut with the Eagles. He scored the first touchdown of the game on an 18-yard reception from Jalen Hurts in the second quarter. He then ran for an 11-yard score in the same quarter and topped off his fantastic night with a two-yard touchdown run in the third. Barkley operated as the team's bellcow as he only ceded two touches to Kenny Gainwell and appears primed for a career year if he can stay healthy. He will be a top-three running back in Week 2 against the Falcons.
