Isaiah Likely goes for 111 yards, TD in Week 1

by Matthew Adam | Ravens Correspondent | Fri, Sep 6th 5:35am EDT

Isaiah Likely caught nine of his 12 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in a 27-20 loss to the Chiefs in Week 1.

Fantasy Impact:

Likely was dominant in the loss, outplaying both teammate Mark Andrews and Kansas City star tight end Travis Kelce. Likely was Lamar Jackson's favorite target in the game, leading the Ravens in all receiving categories. He came close to a second touchdown as time expired in the fourth quarter but officials ruled his toe came down out of bounds upon review. Andrews dealt with an undisclosed injury in the preseason so it is unclear if he was on a pitch count in the opener or if Likely is simply going to be a larger part of the passing offense even when Andrews is active. Either way, Likely is a priority waiver add heading into Week 2.
