Fantasy Impact:
Thomas missed another practice on Wednesday because of a calf injury. It's unclear when he is going to be well enough to return to the field, but with Carolina's regular-season opener just a few days away, he needs to log a practice session in the very near future if he wants to play. Otherwise, rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders will have a chance to play a big role in his NFL debut against the Saints.
