Cameron Heyward signs three-year extension with Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Tuesday that they signed DT Cameron Heyward to a three-year contract extension worth up to $45 million, with $16 million fully guaranteed. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

The 13-year Steeler elects to remain with the team even longer; inking a deal that should keep him in Pittsburgh through the 2027 season. The six-time Pro Bowler and now 10-time team captain will look to cement his legacy as one of the all-time Steelers greats.
