Curtis Samuel (toe) has 'good chance' for Week 1 return

by Jordan Epp | Bills Correspondent | Thu, Aug 22nd 2:49pm EDT

Buffalo Bills WR Curtis Samuel, who is dealing with a toe injury, has a good chance to return for Buffalo's season opener, says head coach Sean McDermott. (Alex Brasky on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

McDermott said that he believes Samuel is nearing a return from what he's heard from the Bills' trainers, though the coach would not commit to the WR's Week 1 availability. Samuel is considered week-to-week with turf toe but could be back in time for the regular season. He is expected to have a major role in Buffalo's offense, especially considering his return to a Joe Brady-led offense (77 receptions, 1,051 scrimmage yards and five total TDs together in Carolina in 2020).
