Chuba Hubbard injures knee, initial tests look good

by Jordan Epp | Panthers Correspondent | Thu, Aug 15th 1:49pm EDT

Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard, who went down with a knee injury at practice on Thursday following a hit, "looks good" according to initial tests, says head coach Dave Canales. (Kassidy Hill on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Hubbard went down earlier in the day but was able to get up and walk around on the sidelines. His situation is worth monitoring, but as it stands now, any initial cause for concern should be alleviated. Hubbard is slated to be the team's RB1 in Week 1 with rookie RB Jonathon Brooks (NFI) still recovering from his ACL tear. It remains to be seen if Hubbard will miss any time as a result of his injury.
