Anthony Richardson will be playing a 'series or two' in the preseason opener against the Broncos, according to head coach Shane Steichan. Richardson has not seen any live game action since Week 5 of the 2023 NFL season. (Ari Meirov on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Richardson's return to the field will likely be more about getting him first-team reps in a game scenario, not necessarily about his production. After missing most of the 2023 season, fantasy managers will see a brief glimpse of what the offense will look like with Richardson at the helm. Assuming he can stay healthy, the former fourth pick has the upside to finish the 2024-2025 season as the QB1 overall.
