Carolina Panthers rookie WR Xavier Legette is being evaluated for a lower leg injury out of precaution after leaving practice. His X-rays were negative, but he is also receiving an MRI. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Legette was drafted in the first round by the Carolina Panthers, who traded up to secure the local talent from South Carolina. After adding head coach Dave Canales to help further QB Bryce Young's development, Carolina prioritized expanding the talent at WR, adding Legette and Diontae Johnson. Legette's situation should remain monitored to see if he is healthy enough to play in the preseason or if he will be forced to miss some time.
