Justin Jefferson being ‘cautious’ with his hamstring

by Garrett Ball | Vikings Correspondent | Sat, Aug 3rd 8:26am EDT

Justin Jefferson and the Vikings will be “overly cautious” with Jefferson’s hamstring that he injured last season as they ramp up activities for 2024. He and the team are taking “significant steps” to avoid any sort of reinjury. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Jefferson missed seven games last season after tearing his right hamstring during week 5 of 2023. The Vikings’ passing attack wasn’t the same without their star wideout, and certainly won’t be the same in 2024 should he miss time with TJ Hockenson already slated to miss a large chunk of the season. Jefferson is one of the most talented players in football, and though reinjury is a concern, it should not discourage fantasy players from drafting him.
