The rookie is fighting to earn a starting role for himself, but he isn't quite there yet. He has been splitting reps at the WR3 spot with Alec Pierce, and it's unclear if he will be able to pull ahead of him before the start of the season. Mitchell is likely to have a slower start to the season, and if he's going to break out, it's not likely to happen until the back half of the regular season.
