The Chicago Bears are placing their franchise tag on CB Jaylon Johnson, keeping him along for a $19.8 million guaranteed price tag. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson has had an interesting experience with the Bears, improving into one of the better corners in the NFL and then having heavy trade rumors ahead of the 2023 trade deadline. Now, the Bears and Johnson will attempt to work toward a long-term deal to re-sign him and keep him in the Windy City. Johnson had four interceptions and 10 passes defended in 2023.
